Bought this from diamond green in Tacoma, WA off of 12th street and its amazing. Just by looking at the crazy genetics packed into this strain you already know its going to be something special.. It’s a super cross between Scooby Snacks X Girl Scout Cookies X Girl Time strains it’s very exotic. It’s caked with trichs and has a perfect density, it’s not too fluffy and not too dense. It’s very buddy and not leafy.. It has a unique spicy fuely danky chronic overtone with sweet berry undertones mixed with these lemony line undertones as well. It’s rated at THC 2.70% CBD 0.00% THCA 19.40% TOTAL 22.1% which feels pretty good high wise. It has virtually no woody stems its just straight dank, every bud. Great cure, great taste.. The taste is reminiscent of berries and lemons with a spicy skunky danky chronic overtone and the smoke has a strong fruity spicy dank aroma. The buds were grown by the Phoenix Cannabis Company and sold legally at the Diamond Green Recreational shop at $25 for 3.5g’s I highly recommend everyone to pick this strain up at least once.

Marijuana Review: Mystery Machine by Doc Croc

What’s your idea of a Mystery Machine? Perhaps a blue police box that’s bigger on the inside; all filled with switches, buttons, and levers – capable of time travel. Or maybe a technicolor van pluming purple smoke from the back, sporting some fashionably retro crime-solving hipsters yelling zoinks and the like.

Regardless of what your perception is, this weeks WA marijuana review is Mystery Machine (a first time strain for this author). The herb is made by Doc Croc, a producer whom are exclusively featured at newly opened Stash pot shop (locations in Ballard, and Lake City).

Doc Croc hails out of Olympia, Washington. Jennifer (an excellent budtender at the Ballard Stash) informed me that the producer was comprised of a couple Australian fellows, and that all their herb was grown hydroponically (not sure if it’s a real word, but it should be). As their instagram profile says, “totally hydro grown with zero dirt”. Their packaging has a pretty badass green crocodile flexing his guns, too.

Let’s see some specifics of the gnarly product:

THC: 1.32%
THC A: 26.2%
CBD: 0.14%
Total: 28.1%

Strain: Mystery Machine
Species: Hyrbid (50:50)
Smell: Earthiness + Spice
Taste: Tea + Bonfire + Skunk
Launch Point: Moments after smoking
High: Deep + Heady + Euphoric + Intense

This potent strain has a neon look to it, as you can see in the summer bleached photos. The golden nug is caked in white powder, truly a finely cured specimen. It felt almost natural to lay the buds out, letting them bask in the sun.

Mystery Machine’s aroma is that of a rustic nature, bustling with a rich earthiness – especially after being freshly ground in my grinder, the strain has a deep spice scent as well. It’s always so interesting to me how one type of herb can have such a pungent stink, while on the other hand some can be super subtle: this particular sample is more on the subtle side.

The bud crumbles up nicely, and smokes thorough – whether using conventional glass, or vaporware. Smooth smoke no matter how you cut it.

The high is intense, and comes on quick. Moments after smoking it was abundantly clear that this is some serious chronic. I wouldn’t suggest drinking strong beers/cocktails, and then winding down with a little Mystery Machine – no no no, this is the strain you use before you start drinking.

Rarely has a bud kicked my ass as much as Mystery Machine did (the first try), but sure enough I’m back on the horse and without the inclusion of several Imperial IPA’s, the strain has a truly majestic/euphoric high that I really enjoy. I’d recommend this bud to anyone looking to have a fun time in the sun, or those looking to really dig into a creative project.

There is a certain level of burnout that comes with a such a high total percent, so expect to feel a little drowsy – and maybe have a coffee, or tea, to jog along with Mystery Machine.

Doc Croc has made me very interested, and High Above Seattle will certainly revisit this producer for some more of their green scaley strains. Remember, you can only get Doc Croc products at the two Stash pot shop locations! See you next week.
