Hazelnut Cream 440g

Black Milk’s Hazelnut Spread is the stuff of dreams. Some say, found nestled within a particularly ‘good’ chocolate covered wafer bar sold in packs of two . It provides a delicious hazelnut taste with a hint of white chocolate. Inspired by trips to Northern Italy, it has been an integral part of our Kinderella dishes over the last five years of Black Milk. Now we finally give you the opportunity to try out our delicious take on chocolate hazelnut spread.

We primarily use our Hazelnut Spread in our baking where we add it to make Kinderella Brownies, cheesecakes and cupcakes. You can also add it to some ice cream, milk along with some Nutella to create our signature Kinderella Milkshake.

If you are looking for a runnier version to drizzle on your ice cream or pancakes, we suggest checking out Black Milk Hazelnut Sauce.

Make sure you also check out Milk Chocolate Hazelnut Cream Bar or our White Chocolate Hazelnut Cream Bar

At home, the Hazelnut Spread is delicious slathered across toast and crumpets, or even stirred in to porridge.

We also understand if you just devour it with a spoon. We do.

TUNISIAN TRADITIONAL DELIGHT

    8 Servings 30min Easy
  • Français –
  • عربي

Finally sharing a Tunisian recipe guys!
Easy peasy and very delicious. Needs only 15 minutes to make.

This dessert is locally named “Assida”.It is usually made during Ramadan evenings when family gathers after Iftar, or during the Prophet’s birthday.

Before starting, I want to thank my cousin for the recipe. I liked its creamy and smooth texture.
So, prepare your blender, grab your cooking pan, and let’s cook!

RECIPE

  • 250g hazelnut paste (if you don’t have it, do not panic and refer to the PS note)
  • 1+⅛ L milk
  • 200g sweetened condensed milk
  • 75g all purpose flour
  • 100g or less granulated sugar
  • Put all the ingredients except sugar into the blender and mix until it becomes homogeneous.
  • Put the mixture in a pan and cook on moderate fire. Stir continuously until it becomes creamy.
  • Add sugar and keep stirring. Let it boil for less than a minute then remove from fire.
  • While still hot, pour it in small bowls or cups.
  • Decorate with shredded pistachio.

PS: Concerning the hazelnut paste, if you can’t find it in stores, you can make it at home : toast 250g of hazelnut for 10 minutes. When it is still warm, remove the skin using a kitchen towel so that your kitchen doesn’t turn messy. Put your hazelnuts in the food processor and blend for 4 minutes. It’s ready!
