Cookies and Cream

Balanced hybrid Cookies and Cream is as delicious as its name promises. As you might have guessed, the “Cookies” part references one half of the parentage, namely Girl Scout Cookies. The “Cream” part, however, references the taste, not the genetics, the other parent is Starfighter, which is a cross between Alien Tahoe OG and Lemon Alien Dawg.

Although a THC range of 20% to 26% might look alarming to some people, these headline figures have to be set in the context of this strain’s genetics, namely the fact that Cookies and Cream is about 50% Indica. This means that while the pain relief is everything you would expect and while this strain is perfectly capable of treating more serious mental and/or emotional issues, the high is actually rather milder than you might assume from the statistics alone. This means that Cookies and Cream might be the perfect choice for anyone who needs the pain relief but doesn’t want a massive, head-rushing high. The minimal level of CBD obviously suggests daytime use, but be careful here because high doses of this strain can make you feel sleepy.

Cookies and Cream can be grown both indoors and outdoors. Indoors, it will be ready after eight to nine weeks of flowering during which time it will reach a height of about 1.2M to 1.5M. You can expect to collect up to 450g/m2. Outdoors it will be ready towards the end of September or start of October, reach a height of up to 2M and deliver a harvest of up to 450g per plant.

We’ve classed Cookies and Cream as being moderately difficult to grow partly because it is a photoperiod strain and partly because it’s on the larger side for a modern strain (although it’s nowhere remotely close to being one of the biggest strains around). Larger plants do tend to need a bit more in the way of advance planning (for example, making sure each plant has space to grow without compromising ventilation) and also in the way of everyday care (watering, feeding etc). On the plus side Cookies and Cream is very amenable to plant training, which gives you options both for reducing its height and maximizing its yield.

In terms of taste and aroma, Cookies and Cream has an earthy, slightly nutty baseline, topped with candy sweetness and a liberal helping of vanilla. The smoke itself is very smooth.

Balanced hybrid Cookies and Cream is a cross between GSC x Starfighter. This strain is packed full of THC and is as delicious as its name promises.

Cookies And Cream

New to this forum, but I thoughtd I post up my new project for the coming year, and hopefully get some in site from anyone who has grown this strain or Exotic genetix in general. Any info is always appreciated.

Anyhow, so I got som cookies and cream from Exotic genetix the other week. soaked them they popped ater 8hrs and into pots as normal. I planted 10, 9 showed above ground, and doing ok. 14days deep as of today and doing ok.

We got one runt and one slight mutant. But the rest look promising. We she’ll see, 30 day ish should give a sexing on the plants.

I also received some freebies with these seeds. Exotic genetix blue suede ribbon. Don’t know much about this one either so again, any info on this cultivar would b welcomed.

They are in coco and have started a real light feed of genesis nutes red green and purple, 250w of cfl light 18 on 6 off.
Long way Togo still .

I’ve put the runt to one side. Still guna see if it’s any good. In my experience it’s best not to be too hasty.
Any now as of today it’s 15 days deep. Got a few nice looking babies already.
Progressing nicely. A good feed tonight and see where we are at in a few days.
Happy Thursday yall

So we are at day 20 so far. Was asked to try out this product,

Again pretty good so far on all of them. very uniform and symmetrical. nice colour and strong growth across the board.

The root stim has seemed to do the trick as well.

Clean crisp white roots growing steady.

This will be the only time I use root stim in pots of this size. in my experience following the recommended dosing from manafactures isn’t always the best way to go. I mite give them one more shot upon repot ting to the last large pot it will b living for a while.

Im hoping to see signs of sex by the weekend. Will up date round then.
Ps. BSR are looking good too
I’ve bumped them up to the top chamber under the 300cfl to give the cookies space and maybe get them sexed ASAP

Love the uniformity of grow from seed. View attachment 639478 View attachment 639479
The next 4 are the smallest with the 5th being pretty much identical as these. I was lazy and couldn’t be bothered to photograph it separately. View attachment 639480 View attachment 639481 View attachment 639482 View attachment 639483

Cheers mate. Good to hear, I’m hoping to find some fire up In ere.

Cheers for comments bud. I should have been more accurate. I do use mycozrial( excuse my spelling) normally. Being a live fungus it grows with the pot size. so I don’t have to keep watering with the added sup.
So Yeh what I should have said I don’t normally use this type of root stim. I also use air pots so tend not to worry about root circling.
I like the idea of root cut. I grow bonsai for a hobby and I do this a lot. I also use what ive learnt frm bonsai to help shape my plants. Still I havent thought a root prune or cut for cannabis. Ummm. intresting point my friend.

Not looking to bad. Nice and green. Growing well. Nice roots and drinking healthy amounts.

The blue suedes are on the far left. In top pick.
The biggest four are in this top chamber
We got Soma sacred seeds am haze in the back shaping and clipping ready to become a monster hopefully. And the rare clone only UK sk1 aka cheese in the back progressing well.
If the BSR are lady’s I will do a separate journal for her. And I mite do 1 for the sk1 so u guys can see the quality of this strain.

The last four are in the lower chamber.
Tangie ghost train, and am haze cut in the back.

Anyone up for giving me an idea to which mite b ladies. there are some front runners but still nt sure. As I said day 33 no sign of sex. I was defo being over opertmistic thinking they would show so eagerly. I’ll still keep them under 18hrs until they show tho.
Anyway hope everyone has a good week.
Peace
