HEMP & PRE ROLL FAQs
What is industrial hemp?
Industrial hemp is a plant variety derived from the genus Cannabis sativa L. and is among the same species as marijuana. It contains a low concentration of Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), a chemical compound known for its hallucinogenic effects. Industrial hemp contains less than 0.3 percent THC, which means it cannot be used as a drug. The hemp plant is typically processed into commodities such as textiles, fiber, forage and cosmetics.
How is it legal?
Section 7606 of the Farm Bill defines industrial hemp as “the plant Cannabis sativa L. and any part of such plant, whether growing or not, with a delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol concentration of not more than 0.3 percent on a dry weight basis.” The Hemp Farming Act of 2018 is a proposed law to remove hemp (defined as cannabis with less than 0.3% THC) from Schedule I controlled substances and making it an ordinary agricultural commodity.
Will I get high?
No. Industrial Hemp seeds have LOW, government-regulated levels of delta-9 Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the psychoactive agent found in Cannabis plants. Its low THC level essentially makes it impossible to feel any psychoactive effect or get a “high.” It also has high cannabidiol (CBD) content that acts as THC’s antagonist, essentially making the minimal amount of THC useless.
Will I fail a drug test?
Though our TKO pre rolls and hemp flower are under the legal limit, there is still a hint of THC that may come up in a drug screen so we do not suggest you to use it as a substitute or alternative to any illegal substance – no matter the serving size.
Will it fail a field test?
Of course. Any substance that contains a trace of THC will show positive for THC on a field test. The only way to ensure it is industrial hemp flower is to have lab reports or lab results test under 0.3% delta-9 Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).Product Description TKO CBD Hemp Flower now available in 8 new strains. Notice to law enforcement authorities: What is contained on this page might look like marijuana, but it is actually legal industrial hemp flower. This historic legislation establishes the legality of industrial hemp produced in state pilot agricultural programs. Congress provides the requisite definition for allowable amounts of THC. industrial hemp’ means the plant Cannabis sativa L. and any part of such plant, whether growing or not, with a delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol concentration of not more than 0.3 percent on a dry weight basis”. An important legal distinction also appears in the first sentence of this bill, stating: “Notwithstanding the Controlled Substances Act (21 U.S.C. 801 et seq.), the Safe and Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act (20 U.S.C. 7101 et seq.), chapter 81 of title 41, United States Code, or any other Federal law”. The term “notwithstanding” was widely used by the 114th Congress as a way to supersede previous laws that may apply, without going through the process of overturning them. This confirms that hemp cannot be considered “marijuana” under the CSA.
