Terpene FAQs

What are terpenes?

Terpenes are naturally occurring compounds that are responsible for the distinctive scents of pine trees, lavender, citrus fruits and all varieties of plants. The terpene profiles of the various cannabis strains are incredibly diverse and influence the flavor, scent and overall character of each strain.

Are terpenes safe?

They are 100% pure and not intended for use undiluted . In their pure form they are DANGEROUS. This product is meant to be mixed with other variables. Terpenes’ odor are VERY potent and only takes a little to create a big smell/impact.

What quality are your terpenes?

A variety of food grade terpenes are used to match the flavor profiles of each strain. You will not find any PG, VG, or PEG in any of our strain specific terpenes.

How can terpenes be used?

Terpenes must be diluted prior to use for flavor and effect (1-5% by total volume – Ex: 2 drops per gram). Terpenes are oil soluble and mix well with plant extracts, coconut oil, and more.

Are your terpenes derived from cannabis?

No, our terpenes are not derived from cannabis. They are food grade terpenes designed to match the flavor profiles of specific strains of cannabis. Our terpenes contain no THC.

HEMP & PRE ROLL FAQs

What is industrial hemp?

Industrial hemp is a plant variety derived from the genus Cannabis sativa L. and is among the same species as marijuana. It contains a low concentration of Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), a chemical compound known for its hallucinogenic effects. Industrial hemp contains less than 0.3 percent THC, which means it cannot be used as a drug. The hemp plant is typically processed into commodities such as textiles, fiber, forage and cosmetics.

How is it legal?

Section 7606 of the Farm Bill defines industrial hemp as “the plant Cannabis sativa L. and any part of such plant, whether growing or not, with a delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol concentration of not more than 0.3 percent on a dry weight basis.” The Hemp Farming Act of 2018 is a proposed law to remove hemp (defined as cannabis with less than 0.3% THC) from Schedule I controlled substances and making it an ordinary agricultural commodity.

Will I get high?

No. Industrial Hemp seeds have LOW, government-regulated levels of delta-9 Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the psychoactive agent found in Cannabis plants. Its low THC level essentially makes it impossible to feel any psychoactive effect or get a “high.” It also has high cannabidiol (CBD) content that acts as THC’s antagonist, essentially making the minimal amount of THC useless.

Will I fail a drug test?

Though our TKO pre rolls and hemp flower are under the legal limit, there is still a hint of THC that may come up in a drug screen so we do not suggest you to use it as a substitute or alternative to any illegal substance – no matter the serving size.

Will it fail a field test?

Of course. Any substance that contains a trace of THC will show positive for THC on a field test. The only way to ensure it is industrial hemp flower is to have lab reports or lab results test under 0.3% delta-9 Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).

Notice to law enforcement authorities: What is contained on this page might look like marijuana, but it is actually legal industrial hemp flower. This historic legislation establishes the legality of industrial hemp produced in state pilot agricultural programs. Congress provides the requisite definition for allowable amounts of THC. industrial hemp’ means the plant Cannabis sativa L. and any part of such plant, whether growing or not, with a delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol concentration of not more than 0.3 percent on a dry weight basis”. An important legal distinction also appears in the first sentence of this bill, stating: “Notwithstanding the Controlled Substances Act (21 U.S.C. 801 et seq.), the Safe and Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act (20 U.S.C. 7101 et seq.), chapter 81 of title 41, United States Code, or any other Federal law”. The term “notwithstanding” was widely used by the 114th Congress as a way to supersede previous laws that may apply, without going through the process of overturning them. This confirms that hemp cannot be considered “marijuana” under the CSA.
