You sure 16w39c was removed? 16w39a was removed, but when I look for 16w39c it is still available.

You still see it beacause you played it before it was remove so your minecraft client downloaded it, but anyone who didnt play it during that time can not see it.

EDIT: Oh wait, it was a. Lol. c is fine. Never mind then.

Also yeah, it still doesnt work with the newest snapshot, do you have a seed for the new one?

I found this using Amidst to show Roofed forest close to spawn, loading seed, typing /locate Mansion, then Gamemode 3 to check for Rooms I wanted.

OK, the seed in the OP no longer works in 16w40a but I found one that does.

Here is another Mansion in default.

Seed: “5596892684784488326” in default (Not large biomes).

Spawn is at 224, 144.

The Mansion is at -1832, -488.

If you’re flying copy this with ctrl-c.(without the “s) “tp 1832 110 -488”

Then in game while flying type / then hit ctrl-v and enter.

If you’re not flying /tp to 1842 64 -481.

OH, Amidst doesn’t yet map Mansions.

I was flying at 1832, 110, -488 saved the game and had Amidst display my location using the Amidst “Open Save game” function.

So the Steve icon shows where the Mansion is on the map below.

Seed picker

The seed picker is an interface in Bedrock Edition that allows the player to choose from a number of preset seeds for generating worlds with specific interesting features near the spawn point.

Usage [ edit ]

To get to the seed picker interface, from the “Worlds” tab in the initial menu, select “Create New”, then “Create New World”. Next to the “Seed” input field, there is an arrow button: clicking on this button opens the seed picker. The seed picker shows a search box at the top, with a scrollable region of named thumbnails to browse the preset seeds. Clicking on a thumbnail returns to the “Create New World” page with the applicable seed filled in.

Discontinued presets [ edit ]

Seeds in the seed picker are discontinued when changes in the world generating algorithms cause the seed to appear differently. Starting in Bedrock Edition 1.10.0, strongholds have less chance of spawning under a village, and with Bedrock Edition 1.11.0, generated structures such as villages and temples spawn at different locations from previous editions. Therefore, the stronghold near the spawn point disappeared from the “Stronghold Village” seed, and there is no longer a village nearby in most seeds that were named for a village. The seeds are still useful for players interested in the geographic features and biomes around the spawn point, which remain largely unchanged.
